A perfume dupe, also called an inspired-by fragrance, is a perfume made to smell like a famous niche or designer scent at a much lower price. Whether it is worth buying comes down to three things: the concentration, the notes and the honesty of the seller. Look for strong Extrait de Parfum strength, a full note breakdown on the product page and a clear statement that the fragrance is inspired by, not made by, the original brand. If all three are there, you are paying for the scent and not the marketing.

Extrait de Parfum generally lasts longer than Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette because it holds more perfume oil, between 15% and 40%. The exact time depends on the composition of the scent, your skin, the weather and where you apply it. Moisturised skin and pulse points such as the wrists, neck and behind the ears help a fragrance hold, and one or two sprays is usually a good starting point for a concentrated formula.

Search the shop for the name of your current fragrance or browse the inspired-by brand pages, then open the product page and compare the top, middle and base notes with what you like. If the notes line up, order the 2ml sample vial first and wear it for a few days on your skin before moving up to a 15ml or 30ml atomizer. Can’t find your scent? A perfume body oil is an oil-based version of a fragrance that you apply directly to the skin instead of spraying it. Apply a small amount to clean skin at the wrists, neck or collarbone, and add a spritz of the matching perfume over the top if you want it to last longer. Many LAB fragrances are available in a 5ml body oil size, which you can choose on the product page.

Shipping is free on all orders over $50. Orders within the USA typically arrive in 5 to 7 business days, although postal delays are outside our control so we cannot guarantee an exact date. We also ship worldwide. To follow a parcel, log in to your account, open the order and look for the tracking details.

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged, and return shipping is the customer’s responsibility under our return policy. If your order arrives damaged, email info@labfragrances.com with a photo of the product as you received it, because a photo is required before a replacement can be issued. The price depends on the number of guests, how long the bar runs, how many hosts are needed and how much you customise the setup. Because every event is different, we quote once we know the date, the city and the guest count. The mobile perfume bar is based in Rancho Cucamonga and travels to events in Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Upland, Riverside and Los Angeles. Get in touch as soon as your date and venue are confirmed and tell us the city, venue type, guest count and any colour scheme, and we will plan the layout and the scent line-up from there.
